  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one package of crescent dough into a baking dish, pressing it flat.
  3. Brush with half of the melted butter and sprinkle with half of the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Spread cheesecake filling over the dough in the baking dish.
  6. Top with second package of crescent dough, brush with remaining butter, and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar.
  7. Bake for about 28 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow cooling before slicing into bars.
