Ingredients

  • Chicken breast chunks
  • Fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • Garlic, minced
  • Onion, finely chopped
  • Butter
  • Olive oil
  • Chicken broth
  • Heavy cream
  • Dijon mustard
  • Fresh parsley
  • Salt & black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breast chunks and sear until golden brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and onion until fragrant (around 2 minutes). Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened (3-4 minutes).
  3. Deglaze the pan with chicken broth, then stir in Dijon mustard. Pour in heavy cream and let simmer until thickened (approximately 5 minutes).
  4. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, coating it well with the creamy sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
