  • 1 cup milk (evaporated optional)
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp almond extract
  • 1 quart canned peaches (sliced and drained)
  • ⅔ cup flour (for topping)
  • ⅔ cup sugar (for topping)
  • 6 Tbsp melted butter (for topping)
  • Optional: cinnamon, whipped cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, egg, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and almond extract until blended.
  3. Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until smooth.
  4. Spread the batter evenly onto a greased cookie sheet or jelly roll pan.
  5. Place sliced peaches on top with cut sides down and drizzle with reserved peach juice.
  6. Bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm with optional whipped cream.
