  • 1 lb bowtie pasta
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Season chicken with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat butter in a skillet and cook chicken until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Set aside.
  2. Boil water and cook bowtie pasta until al dente; drain.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté garlic. Whisk flour and milk until smooth; add to the skillet and stir until thickened.
  4. Gradually add chicken broth and cream while whisking. Incorporate cream cheese and mozzarella until melted. Season as desired.
