  • 5 cups halved or quartered fresh strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ⅔ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar (packed)
  • ⅓ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9 ½ inch deep dish pie plate.
  2. In a mixing bowl, toss halved strawberries with orange juice and granulated sugar. Pour into the greased baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, light brown sugar, additional granulated sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
  4. Spread the oat topping evenly over the strawberry mixture.
  5. Bake for about 40 minutes until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
