  • 34 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 2 (15-ounce) cans red kidney beans (drained)
  • 2 cups broth (beef or vegetable)

Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, cook the ground turkey or beef over medium-high heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add diced onions and sauté until soft. Season with salt, cumin, chili powder, and tomato paste; stir well.
  3. Add diced tomatoes and return the meat to the pot along with kidney beans and broth.
